Overview
Built on the success of the previous year’s Mining Armenia Forum, SPRING PR was once again entrusted with the strategic communications and full event management of Mining Armenia Forum 2025, held on October 3–4 in Yerevan. Hosted by the Armenian Mining and Metallurgy Association and supported by Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC) and Lydian Armenia CJSC as general sponsors, the forum brought together more than 250 participants from Armenia and abroad, including representatives of government institutions, international experts, investors and industry leaders.
This year’s event, titled “The Energy of Mining: International Trends and Armenia’s Potential,” explored the mining industry’s role in the broader economic and energy landscape. Over two days, the program featured panel discussions, keynote presentations, and expert sessions addressing innovation, investment climate, and sustainable development within the mining sector. Special attention was given to the links between mining and energy transition, environmental responsibility, and governance standards.
Participants examined Armenia’s growing export potential, the importance of attracting high-quality investments, and the strategic role of stability and transparency in policy and regulation. The forum underscored the need for continued exploration investments to ensure the long-term viability of the industry and the country’s competitiveness in global markets.
A strong focus was placed on sustainability, emphasizing the integration of environmental protection, social engagement, and governance into a unified development strategy. The presentation of ZCMC’s 2024 Sustainability Report reaffirmed the company’s commitment to transparency, responsible mining, and environmental stewardship. The announcement of the Jon Hobbs Award for biodiversity conservation further highlighted Armenia’s dedication to aligning its mining practices with international sustainability standards.
Supported by partners including Ameriabank, BDO Armenia, Grant Thornton, KPMG Armenia, NORGEO, IKO Machinery (official distributor of Komatsu), and Mendia Resources, the Mining Armenia Forum 2025 positioned Armenia as an emerging regional hub for responsible and forward-looking mining. The discussions and initiatives launched during the event are expected to contribute to the sustainable growth of the sector and to strengthen Armenia’s reputation on the global stage ahead of the upcoming COP17 World Summit on Biodiversity.

Strategy
SPRING PR delivered a comprehensive communication and event management strategy that ensured the seamless organisation, high-level representation and global visibility of Mining Armenia Forum 2025. The collaboration began long before the event itself, with the team coordinating full international guest management, including all logistics, flight arrangements, accommodation, transportation and continuous liaison with invited speakers and guests from several countries.
The pre-event communications phase involved developing the programme’s content narrative and managing the forum’s full visual identity—social media design and text packages, branded invitations with strategic messaging, B2B communication with stakeholders and systematic follow-up. SPRING PR also supervised the complete venue branding, from stage and hall design to LED screen animations developed specifically for the 2025 edition.
On the event days, SPRING PR ensured full-scale coordination of all operational, technical and communication processes. This included venue management, staging, run-of-show supervision, work with the host, speechwriting, and on-site support for the entire flow of the programme. The team also oversaw the work of all vendors—technical crews, decorators, production specialists, photo and video teams—to guarantee consistent execution at every stage.
Media relations were handled on-site as well, with SPRING PR coordinating interviews with both local and international speakers, ensuring that journalists received timely access and structured communication support.
A separate component of the collaboration was the organisation of the official gala dinner, featuring international guests, an entertainment programme and a coordinated flow of the evening’s activities. SPRING PR managed all aspects of the dinner—from logistics and creative direction to programme flow and on-site execution—ensuring a polished and engaging experience that reflected the forum’s high-level nature.
Government relations were also handled with utmost precision, including all communication and coordination associated with the participation of the Prime Minister. SPRING PR worked closely with the relevant state protocol bodies to ensure alignment with official requirements and the smooth integration of high-level participation into the event agenda.
The communication strategy included the full production of a sneak-peek video and a comprehensive overview video, capturing the forum’s scale and impact.
Following the event, SPRING PR executed an extensive international media outreach campaign.
