Overview

SPRING PR provided strategic communications and PR support for the inaugural Armenia–UK Business Forum 2026, a high-level international business platform held in Yerevan on October 5–8, bringing together senior government officials, business leaders, investors, international financial institutions, academics and industry experts from Armenia and the United Kingdom.

Organised by the Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia (OABCA) in cooperation with the Government of Armenia, Enterprise Armenia and the British-Armenian Chamber of Commerce (BACC), the Forum marked an important step in advancing bilateral economic relations, particularly following the establishment of a strategic partnership between Armenia and the United Kingdom earlier in 2026.

Under the theme “Building Bridges for Capital, Talent and Innovation,” the Forum sought to unlock the untapped potential of Armenian–British cooperation, creating new opportunities for investment, trade, technological advancement, education and cultural exchange.

The main business programme, held on October 6 at Dvin Music Hall, gathered approximately 2,000 participants and featured prominent Armenian and international speakers, including Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan, Sir Howard Davies, Dr Alex Connock and Professor Rose Luckin.

The programme addressed a broad range of strategic priorities, from financial and investment cooperation, export finance and infrastructure development to artificial intelligence, deep technology, education and cultural diplomacy. Through keynote speeches, expert discussions and sector-specific sessions, the Forum explored how the complementary strengths of Armenia and the United Kingdom could translate into practical economic opportunities.

Beyond the main conference, the initiative included an opening gala concert at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall and targeted B2B and B2G meetings between British delegates and Armenian counterparts, reinforcing its ambition to move beyond dialogue towards long-term business and institutional partnerships.

Strategy

SPRING PR’s communications approach focused on establishing the inaugural Armenia–UK Business Forum as a credible and internationally relevant platform for bilateral business cooperation. Given the Forum’s high-level representation and multidisciplinary agenda, the strategy aimed to communicate its significance beyond a single business event, highlighting its contribution to strengthening economic ties, facilitating investment dialogue and connecting decision-makers across sectors.

A central element of the communications work was the development of a consistent narrative around the Forum’s overarching theme, “Building Bridges for Capital, Talent and Innovation.” This positioning connected the programme’s diverse discussions under a unified message, emphasising the complementary strengths of the two countries and the potential for practical cooperation in finance, technology, education and other strategic sectors.

SPRING PR supported the Forum’s pre-event communications through the preparation of press materials, speaker biographies and tailored media content. Particular attention was given to presenting the Forum’s international speakers and key discussion topics in a way that would resonate with business, economic and general-interest media audiences.

Government relations and protocol coordination were integral to the communications strategy. SPRING PR maintained close communication with relevant government institutions and their communications teams to align key messages, coordinate official communications and ensure consistency across institutional and Forum-related materials. This also involved aligning media guidelines and protocol requirements, ensuring that communications activities and media coverage complied with official procedures.

Media relations formed another important component of the strategy. SPRING PR engaged leading Armenian media outlets and proactively secured podcast appearances, television and media interviews for the Forum’s organisers & key representatives. These opportunities helped communicate the Forum’s objectives, introduce its key discussion topics and generate interest ahead of the event. The media approach focused on securing visibility across general news, business and economic media, while encouraging substantive coverage of Armenian–British cooperation, investment prospects and technological developments.

During the Forum, SPRING PR provided on-site media coordination, facilitating journalist access, speaker interviews and the timely dissemination of key information. Particular attention was given to ensuring that media activities reflected the Forum’s high-level institutional character and communicated its principal messages consistently.

Post-event communications highlighted the Forum’s key discussions, international participation and opportunities for continued cooperation, reinforcing its significance as a platform for long-term Armenian–British business engagement.

Through this integrated approach, SPRING PR contributed to strengthening the Forum’s public visibility, institutional positioning and stakeholder engagement, supporting the successful communications delivery of its inaugural edition.
