Overview
SPRING PR provided full-scale event management and government relations services for the official ceremony celebrating Amulsar Gold Mine’s first gold production and pouring, held on October 10, 2026. The event marked the start of operations at the first mineral deposit discovered in Armenia since independence, representing a major milestone for the country’s mining industry.
The ceremony was attended by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, members of the Government, including Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan and Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan, alongside Lydian Armenia’s leadership and other stakeholders. During the visit, the company’s representatives demonstrated the gold production and pouring process, marking the transition of one of Armenia’s largest investment projects into its operational phase.
From initial discovery and exploration through project development and construction to the start of operations, Amulsar has completed every stage of the mining project development lifecycle. The project is being developed through a strategic partnership between Lydian Armenia and the Government of Armenia, which holds a 12.5% stake in the company.
With approximately USD 750 million invested in the project, including USD 150 million in financing provided by Ameriabank under a state guarantee, Amulsar represents a significant investment in Armenia’s economy. The commencement of operations is expected to create new jobs, increase state budget revenues, support local communities, and contribute to the country’s investment attractiveness.
Through the Amulsar Project, Lydian Armenia has introduced international best practices and leading standards in modern, responsible mining, establishing a new culture within Armenia’s mining industry.

Strategy
SPRING PR developed the concept of the official ceremony and provided comprehensive end-to-end event management, translating the significance of Amulsar’s first gold production into a carefully designed event experience. The agency oversaw all stages of preparation and implementation, ensuring that the event’s programme, visual identity, and organizational arrangements reflected the importance of this milestone.
A key component of the agency’s work was government relations and protocol coordination. SPRING PR managed communication with relevant government institutions, coordinated high-level official participation, and oversaw protocol arrangements to ensure the seamless integration of government representatives into the ceremony.
The agency developed the event programme and managed its content, including the coordination of the event host and speechwriting. Particular attention was given to the sequence of the ceremony, key messages, and the alignment of the programme with official protocol requirements.
SPRING PR also managed the event’s creative and technical production, including branding and design coordination, staging, sound and lighting, venue arrangements, catering, and guest hospitality. The agency worked closely with designers, technical teams, production companies, and other vendors, overseeing their work from initial planning through final delivery.
Through an integrated approach combining creative concept development, government relations, protocol management, and full-scale event production, SPRING PR delivered a ceremony that reflected the significance of Amulsar’s first gold and the beginning of a new chapter in Armenia’s mining industry.
