Overview
SPRING PR provided communication and media relations support for the official opening of the largest solar power station in Armenia’s Tavush region, located in the Yenokavan community. The project, implemented by Solaron — Armenia’s first and only solar panel manufacturer — was financed by ACBA Leasing within the framework of the KfW Renewable Energy Fund. The opening ceremony, held on December 22 on the occasion of International Energy Workers’ Day, gathered representatives of the energy sector, partner organizations, and government institutions, including Deputy Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan.
The 147-kW solar power station, capable of generating up to 208,000 kWh of electricity annually, marked an important milestone in Armenia’s transition toward renewable energy and environmental sustainability. Beyond the technological achievement, the project demonstrated the country’s growing capacity for locally designed and manufactured clean-energy solutions.

Strategy
SPRING PR’s role focused on ensuring effective media visibility and communicating the project’s broader contribution to sustainable development and energy independence. The agency managed comprehensive media relations, ensuring high-quality coverage across leading national and regional outlets and shaping key messages that underscored Armenia’s renewable-energy potential, local expertise, and commitment to a greener future.
Visual communication was a key component: SPRING PR organized professional photo and video documentation that captured both the technological significance and the environmental message of the project. These materials were used to amplify awareness through partner channels and reinforce the narrative of clean-energy advancement in Armenia.
Media monitoring and performance assessment followed, confirming wide public and professional engagement. The campaign effectively positioned the Yenokavan solar power station as a tangible example of sustainable progress and successful cooperation between private business and international financial partners.
